“Shark-coochie board”
I know they are properly called charcuterie boards. But the customer had an in joke with her husband and asked me to burn Shark-Coochie on her boards. Turns out after a bit of internet research that are a lot of people calling them this.
These boards were made from the same slab of claro walnut. The pattern was derived from a Great White outline. I had to expand the mid-sections a bit to make them big enough to hold food items. The larger ones are about 22 inches long and 1 inch thick. They were repeatedly wet sanded up to a 1000 grit. They are finished with a food safe oil—-Walrus Oil brand. The set of one large and one small sold for $120.00. The second large one for another customer sold for $75.00
